What a wonderful man. My family never talked to him without seeing that beautiful smile. Such a lovely couple. I know this is a difficult time for all. Just know we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. One day we shall all meet again. We send our love to all the family.

Jim was a kind and conscientious leader in the management of the Chattanooga News-Free Press, specifically the Classified Department where he presided over numerous ad sales folks over four decades.
Jim lived out his Christian faith with integrity. N-FP Publisher Roy McDonald had confidence in Jim's ability to manage well.
Jim also served wisely as president of the Free Press Credit Union for many years, looking out for the best interests of hundreds of fellow employees.
It was an honor to serve with him for decades.
Sympathies to his family, but with the knowledge that he has graduated to eternity with his Savior.
