Obituary of Venita Ruth McClure

Venita Ruth Maynor McClure, 75, of Hixson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 26, 2022.
She was born to the late Alfred "Bozo" and Mildred Maynor on December 28, 1946.
Venita was a beautiful woman who brought a smile on everyone's faces and love into everyone's hearts. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church in Soddy-Daisy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her precious son, Edward Spencer Fulghum III, and brother, C.Y. Maynor.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, James "Jimmy" McClure; daughter, Jill (Tony) Townsend; granddaughter, Alicia (Wayne) Henderson; grandson, Dustin Ruffner; great grandchildren, Tripp and Colton Ruffner; sister, Pat (David) Dowden and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 30th in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donald Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, November 29th at the funeral home.
