Obituary of Sharon Darlene Kilgore

Sharon Darlene Kilgore, 64, of Hixson passed away on Friday, October 28th at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was the owner, stylist, and nail tech at Mane Crush Hair Salon #1 and #2. She was a graduate of Hixson High School and attended Silverdale Baptist Church. Sharon was a great employer, a wonderful sister and aunt, and a blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Louise Kilgore. Left to cherish her memories are her father, James C. Kilgore, Sr.; sister, Ruby Gourley; brother, Jimmy Kilgore; childhood friend, Eddie Morgan; niece, Nicole Beene; nephew, Wade (Deborah) Kilgore; great-nephew, Michael Kilgore and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM EST on Tuesday, November 1st at Covenant Church with Rev. Eugene Kilgore officiating. There will be a private family only gathering from 2-4 PM EST. Please be respectful of this time. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM EST on Tuesday at Covenant Church, 9259 Hixson Pike, Soddy-Daisy. Private entombment will be held in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Lustgarden Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
