Obituary of Donald Clemons

Donald Clemons, age 82, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, peacefully passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on December 14, 1939, son of the late Herbert H. Clemons and Laura B. Clemons. Mr. Clemons served in the United States Navy, later locating to Indiana where he worked as an iron worker at Ironworkers of Southern Ohio. He returned to Tennessee to care for his ailing parents where he lived out his adult life.  Mr. Clemons hobbies included NASCAR & working with cars but his passion was guns.  He was an avid shooter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James E. Clemons, Herbert H. Clemons Jr., Thomas E. Clemons and nephew Jimmy Clemons.                                                       Surviving are his loving wife, Joan Clemons; niece Darlene (Lanny) Viall; brother Kenneth (Carlotta) Clemons, a special nephew Carter Loney; several nieces, nephews and friends. Burial will be at the National Cemetery with full military honors. Funeral services will be private with no visitation.
