Obituary of Sue P. Smith

Sue P. Smith, 76, of Sale Creek, TN went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. She was born December 16, 1945 in Rhea County, TN and was a lifelong resident of Sale Creek, TN. She was retired from J. I. T. and enjoyed fishing, picking blackberries and making jelly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Smith, parents, Alex and Ollie Poe, sons, Jackie and Jeff Smith, brother, Carl Poe, sisters, Bonnie Harvey and Mildred Clark and great-grandchildren, Charlotte Darnell and Isla Tomlinson. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Alley, grandchildren, Patrick and Kara Alley, Staci (Brandon) Tomlinson, Amber (Cotie) Wilson and Lora (Zach) Darnell, great-grandchildren, Liam, Jacob and Brooke Tomlinson, Ember Wilson and Matthew and Annaliese Darnell as well as her brothers, Bobby and Johnny Poe and sister, Thelma Guston and several extended family. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Graysville, TN.
