Jerry Lee Barrett, 81, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at a local hospice facility. He was a retired Pharmacist with the Veterans Administration with over 20 years of service and was a member of Rechoboth Baptist Church. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and reading. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosita Barrett, sons, Jerry Allan and Mitchell “Wade” Barrett, mother of his children, Sammie Barrett Stipe, parents, Chess and Frankie Barrett, brothers, Sonny and Larry and sisters, Sandy and Janice. Survivors include his son, John Barrett, daughter, Alisha (Tim) Barrett-Ross, brother, Gary Barrett, grandchildren, Tara, Caitlyn, Lisi, Noah, Lainie and Dakota and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
