Obituary of James Johnston Griffiss III

James Johnston Griffiss III, of Washington, D.C. and Loudon, TN has died at age 68 on April 30, 2022 in Loudon, TN.
James was the son of James J. Griffiss, Jr. and the grandson of James J. Griffiss, Sr. who lived on Lookout Mountain. He is survived by his son, James J. Griffiss IV, and his grandson, Maxwell Scott Griffiss.
James graduated from Baylor School, was a specialist in computers, and worked for several companies in Washington, D.C. He was a member of the Episcopal Church.
He will be buried at Forest Hills Cemetery in a private graveside service ceremony with family members only.
