Tom and I met in the fifth grade when i transferred schools. Tom was funny, loud, and always making me laugh. Just normal kids in the '70s learning how to get along. When school was over we went separate ways. Years later our daughters played softball together in the kids club. We talked a lot sitting at the ball field waiting for the next game to start or finish.
Jennifer and Nathan, I'm so sorry about your dad. This hurts terribly now but it will lessen in time. Think about the good memories, the funny stories, things about Tom that made you smile. Please don't be afraid to laugh when you think of something Tom did that was silly. He enjoyed making us laugh. And share those good memories with his grandchildren so that he can be a part of their lives too
