Sheila Denise Johnson got her wings on November 30, 2021 while being held by her husband. Sheila was born July 26, 1965 to Gary and Linda Allen. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe high school in 1984. Sheila went to work for the Chattanooga Convention and Visitors Bureau and was recruited by the Tennessee Aquarium prior to its opening in 1992 to be their Group Reservations Manager. Later she worked in reservations at Ruby Falls followed by a 15 year career at TVA until her retirement in November of 2018. Sheila loved daily walks in her subdivision. It was her time to talk with God, neighbors, and visit with the pets. She loved to travel and was blessed to have traveled around the Caribbean islands with her husband, Chuck. Sheila had a passion about cooking and was a great cook who loved experimenting with new recipes. There aren’t enough words to describe the joy and happiness Sheila brought to many peoples’ lives. Preceded in death by father, Gary Franklin Allen and mother, Linda Kate DeVries.
