I never thought I would be writing a tribute to my lifelong friend. I met Angela when I was 17 years old and she was always there for every special event I had. I have so many wonderful memories of her from our teenage years to the present and she will be forever missed. My world will not be the same without her on this earth. She was a wonderful friend, a wonderful mom and a wonderful treasure that will never be replaced. I will always remember her laugh and big beautiful smile. We shared so much over so many years and I am so thankful God put her in my life.

The world is a little less beautiful. There is a little less love. It's a little less bright...a little less happy...everything is just a little less because the light and love you put out into the universe has been dimmed way too soon. But I am going to try my best to remember how blessed my world was because I was one of the lucky ones who was able to witness firsthand how you changed the world for the better and the people you touched were better just for knowing you. You were taken way too soon. Your passing has touched so so many. I know that you would be shocked to see and hear all the wonderful tributes people are saying because that's just how you were...you never realized the impact you made on each and every person who you came in contact with...you were just being your amazing self not understanding that your presence in our lives made us better just by knowing you. I will treasure each and every single memory we shared and there are so many. I can't believe that we won't have the chance to make more. Whenever I think about that, it physically hurts. So I am going to try to focus on how blessed I am to have so many wonderful memories with you instead. I am so thankful that I wad able to call you my best friend for so many years. Thank you for being such a beautiful light in my life. I love you so much and will always think of you and the times we shared with so much gratitude and love. I thank God for bringing you into my life when we were just kids ourselves and keeping you in it for all these years. Until we meet again Angel Woman.. fly high and sing with the angels. Our immense loss is Heaven's amazing gain.

My deepest condolences to Joe, her boys and her family. I don't have pictures to share or a great story between the two of us, but we did have an immediate connection once I figured out who her daddy was...Duke Berry. He and my daddy had worked together at a plant here in Chattanooga and that's all it took. We became friends immediately and I enjoyed her so much, not just as a friend, but as a boss as well. I only worked with her and was a part of that dream team for a short while before our endeavors took us in different directions and even though it did...she still had a smile and a, "it's great to see you" every single we time our paths would cross. Much love and tons of prayers to all who knew and loved her...
