Bennett E. "Ben" Carter
Ben Carter, 69, of Chickamauga, GA passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021.
He was Chemical Engineer with Chattam Chemicals for 42 years and attended Thankful Memorial Episcopal Church. He was always, Ben.
Preceded in death by his parents, Holly B. and Betty Carter.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Janet LeSage Carter, sons, Thomas (Amiee) Duke and Brandon (Lorie) Duke, grandchildren, Thomas, Timothy, Christian, Bryson and Ashton, brother, Bart Carter, sisters, Lynda Walters and Christine Hill and several nieces and extended family.
Memorial Services will be held at Thankful Memorial Episcopal Church in St. Elmo on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. in the Memorial Garden.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Thankful Memorial Episcopal Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 2274, Chattanooga, TN 37409 in Ben's memory.
The family will receive friends on September 17th-19th from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the family's home, 9828 Hwy 193, Chickamauga, GA.
