Obituary of Kenneth Larry Lee

Please share a memory of Kenneth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kenneth Larry Lee, 78, of Soddy-Daisy, born October 9th, 1942, died peacefully in his sleep Tuesday morning, July 27, 2021. Ken was a US Navy veteran and served his country proudly. He was a truck driver for MC Tank and also helped do small jobs at Daisy Head Start where his wife, Rachel worked. Nothing meant more to him than his church and his family. He attended Christ Family Church and loved all his friends dearly. He enjoyed woodwork projects and music, and of course his Tennessee Vols. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Lee; parents, Edgar Lee and Patsy Ricketts and his brother, Randy Lee. He is survived by his brothers, Wayne Lee, David Lee and Donald Lee, along with several nieces and nephews. When he married Rachel he seamlessly filled the role that he was to all of us, daughter and son, Dale Smith and Cheryl Trayler; several grandkids and great-grandkids who loved him very much. Funeral services will be at 2pm Saturday, July 31st in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Calvin Nunley officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379 (423) 843-2525 Please share your memories, stories and photos at www.legacyfuneralhome.com.
