Rosemary Fordice, born May 19, 1927, in Kingsburg, California to Robert and Grace Quist went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was married to her soul mate, the late Rev. Merlyn Fordice for 66 years. Rosemary was devoted to her family and worked alongside Merlyn as a faithful Minister’s wife. Upon retirement, Rosemary and Merlyn relocated from Los Gatos, California, to Lookout Mountain, Georgia, where they were surrounded by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After moving to Lookout Mountain, she was involved in women’s ministries at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church. In her later years she was known as a “Prayer Warrior” to her family, neighbors and friends. Survivors include her children Robin (George) Damrill, of Brunswick, Ga., and Timothy Fordice (Cori), of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; grandchildren Amy (Chris) Marsh, Aaron (Megan) Damrill, Shelley Fordice (Susan Green), Tyler (Bethany) Fordice, and Tasha (Ryan) Snyder; and eight great-grandchildren. A celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021, at the Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Widow’s Harvest, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Arrangements are by Wann Funeral and Cremation Center, Chattanooga (423) 821-7551.
