Obituary of Charles Wayne Cassidy

Charlie Cassidy, 86, of Hixson, TN passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 in a local hospice center.
He was a 21 year U. S. Air Force Retiree, a member of Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle and enjoyed golf, target shooting and his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Cassidy, son, Michael (Rhonda) Guice, daughter, Michele (Tommy) Cook, rescue baby, Molly, brothers, Harvey (Gladys) Cassidy and Buddy (Judy) Collier, sister-in-law, Vandra Gaber and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Brooks Green officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors being observed.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle Golden Agers Fund or a charity of your choice.
