Violet Audrey Hendrix, 88, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Violet was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Soddy-Daisy, TN. She was raised Catholic but had been attending Stoney Point Baptist Church and previously, Daisy United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60+ years, Phillip James Hendrix, parents, Eugene Reeg, Sr. and Clara Pauline (Clavier) Kastner, brothers, Eugene (Shirley) Reeg, Jr., George Kastner, Larry Kastner, sisters, Hilda (Earl) Allert, Mary T. (Octave) Berthelot, Delores K. (Howard) Theriot and Rose M. (Frank) Valleck.
Survivors include her son, Samuel James (Staci) Hendrix, sisters, Dianne Kastner and Annie Kastner, sisters-in-law, Judy (George) Kastner and Rita (Larry) Kastner, grandmother to Kailey Jeanne (Daniel) Starry and great-grandsons, Eli Jon Marlin Starry and Daniel James Starry, II.
All services will be held privately.
