Obituary of Connie L. Green

Connie L. Green, age 58, of Hixson Tennessee, peacefully went to rest on Thursday, May 27th 2021 with her loving family by her side after a hard-fought battle with COVID-19. Connie was a long-time resident of Soddy-Daisy and Hixson. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Sarasota Florida. She finally settled down in Hixson, where where she had three children and met the love of her life William F. Billy Green. Connie was a 15-year veteran of Food Lion, a 20-year veteran of Walmart, and eventually with her best friend and older brother, Jeff McCollum she was able to bring her long life dream to reality when they open CJ's burgers in Soddy-Daisy Tennessee. Connie spent her entire life selflessly working to provide for her children and anyone else who was ever in need. She always put herself last. She will be missed by not just her family, but an entire community of people who grew to love her through the years because of her heart and her exceptional work ethic. She is preceded in death by her husband William F Green, Jr.; her twin sister, Bonnie Pendleton; her father, Jack Mccollum; her mother, Levah King and stepmother, Berta Mccollum. She is survived by her three children, Brandy Satterwhite (Jeremy) Pritchett, Brian McCollum, James and Misty Satterwhite; stepmother, Charlotte McCollum; her brother Jeff (Peggy) McCollum; sisters, Vicky Riness and Crystal (Frankie) Ramey and her eight grandchildren who she loved more than they will ever know, Adison, Emry, Sailey, Jese, Mister, Zoe, Gracie, Journie. Her furbaby, Baxter & several nieces & nephews. A service to celebrate her life will held at 3pm on Tuesday, June 1st in the funeral home chapel.
