I have fond memories of being Molly's neighbor. She would invite me for dinner and introduce me to German food. I don't think there was anything I didn't like. I will never forget her words of encouragement. She would tell me how proud she was of me, and that I was going to change the world. I feel like I let her down. I'm going to miss her hugs and kisses. She was truly one of a kind.

Marlie was always a smiling face at the Chattanooga German American Club and her presence and humor brought a joy to our meetings. We had not seen her the last couple of years due to Covid19 and her medical issues. We will miss her.

I will truly miss Molly's joy of life, her genuineness, and her willingness to be vulnerable in the midst of others. When I think of Molly, I just have to smile. Dearest Molly was such a wonderful soul on this earth with her hugs to friends and strangers alike - now her wonderfulness is being spread throughout God's heavenly kingdom. Molly may be gone from our earthly home but she will remain in many people's hearts, minds, and souls.
