Obituary of Clarence Harvey Richie

Clarence Harvey Richie of Soddy Daisy went home to his Lord on January 4, 2021. He was born July 17, 1935 to Frank and Hazel Richie. Harvey retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 45 years of service, was a member of the Highland Sportsman Club and was a member of the Welcome Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church Soddy-Daisy. Harvey was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Richie, his parents, his sister, Lois Holland, daughter Terri Lynn Richie, and his niece Gina Neeley Reed. Those left to cherish Harvey's memory are his step-son Randy (Eva) Millsaps, Soddy Daisy, granddaughters Beth Millsaps of Cleveland and Jamie (Micky) Deweese of Cookeville, brother-in-law Tom (Cheryll) Neeley of Chattanooga, niece Amy (Steve) Duck of Chattanooga, great nieces and great nephew Savannah Raymond, Jacob Raymond, GiGi Duck and many other family members. In accordance with county COVID-19 guidelines, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held 3:30 P.M., Friday, January 8, 2021, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Highway 153, Dr. Seton Tomyn, officiating. The family would like to thank Jackie Moore and Hearth Hospice for their wonderful, care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Martin-Boyd Christian Home, 6845 Standifer Gap Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421, or any charity of your choice.
