Thomas Dean Posey, 68, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on December 23, 2020 in an area hospital. Tom retired from Card Monroe Corporation after thirty years of service. He was a long time musician and was a member of New Life Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Laraine Posey; brothers, Charles, Robert and Russell Posey; sister, Margaret Posey. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Posey; sons, Thomas (Kristy) Posey and Jason (Rachel) Posey; brothers, Randall, Roy and Tim Posey; sisters, Mamie Lorina Davis, Wanda Faye DeHart, Nannie Ritz, Cathie Smith and Pattie Houston; grandchildren, Thomas Andrew Posey, Jason Lee Posey and Gracie Ann Posey; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
