Mayrelou Varnell Murphy Thomas, age 103, passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving morning at her home in Chattanooga Valley. She is mourned by her son, two daughters, granddaughter, grandson, their extended families, her devoted caregivers, and many friends. A memorial and gravestone ceremony will be held in the spring.
