Velma Jean Bailey McCamy passed away on September 30, 2020 at her home on Lookout Mountain surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Frank and Lillie Brookshire Bailey on July 16, 1931 in Cartersville, GA. She is a member of First Centenary United Methodist Church where she will join her husband Bill in the Memorial Garden. Her husband passed in January of 2018 Preceding her in death were her parents, 5 brothers and 5 sisters and her loving husband William R McCamy She is survived by her sons, Michael McCamy of Orange, VA, Wm Gary McCamy of Rochester, NY: daughter, Debra Shultz of Chattanooga, TN; 4 Granddaughters; 9 Great Grandchildren The funeral service will be held in the Memorial Garden of First Centenary Church October 6 but due to the Coronavirus the service will be private In lieu of flowers she has requested that donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation at 1 Siskin Plaza Chattanooga, TN 37403 She was a fantastic Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who was loved by all and she is sorely missed.
