Lynette, David, and Jimmy and Family: The celebration of the life of your Dad/Grandfather was amazing and so appropriate during this pandemic time. When I was little, my single parent mom used to let me spend some time with aunt Joyce and uncle Corky. I did this for days and sometimes weeks at a time in the summers. Corky treated me good. His sons were very little at the time, and as I was a little older he used to let me come help him at his service station. He taught me a lot. Even running to the shore with him was exciting, as he’d cause the car to spin around in the rain on purpose and stuff like thst was fun to a boy my age. I drove my first tractor in front of him in Ootelwah. We grew apart later, but I will always treasure my memories of him and that time in my life that he played a big role in.
