Obituary of William David Hinds

William David Hinds William David Hinds, 65, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at his home. He was born in Charlotte, NC on April 7, 1955. He was a Soddy-Daisy High School Graduate Class of 1973 where he was voted Mr. Soddy-Daisy. He graduated from UTC with a chemical degree and from the Dental School at UT Medical Units in Memphis in 1981. He was a loving husband. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Hinds. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Diane Hinds, mother, Jean Hinds, step-daughters, Shonta (Scott) Terry, 2 granddaughters, Megan (Ryan) Shipley and Madison Walker and 4 great-grandchildren, siblings; Sandra Hinds, Rodney Hinds, Leslie (Jim) Metcalfe and John Hinds, nephews, Jerod (Melissa) Hinds and Ian and Nicholas Metcalfe. All Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the McKamey Animal Center, 4500 N Access Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37415
