Obituary of John Paul Womble

John Paul Womble, 73, of Hixson, TN passed away July 7, 2020 while under hospice care at his home. He was a logger and recycler. Originally from Georgia he had resided in this area since 1979. He was preceded in death by his parents, George O. and Elsie R. Womble and 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include his ex-wife/caretaker, Barbara Womble, son, Paul (Vanessa) Womble, daughters, Amanda Meeks (Jason) Ruston and Elsie Womble, sisters, Thelma and Carol, brothers, Luther, Robert, Charlie, Glenn, Tommy and Dennis, in-laws, Tom (Kim) Donelson, Linda Donelson and Mary (David) McFalls, grandchildren, Rebecca, Megan, Steven, Matthew, Nicholas, Melissa and Travis, great-grandchildren, Paige, Johnny, Hannah, Wynter, Sophie and Gabby as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 in the Hamilton County Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Joe Dillard officiating. Jonathan Donelson, Steven Smith, Bryan Guffey, Matthew Meeks, Nicolas Meeks and Johnny Glassmire will serve as pallbearers.
