Obituary of Joey Carole Johnson

Joey Carole McNabb Johnson Joey Carole was born January 24, 1942. She has left us to be happy in Heaven. She's in no more pain, no more suffering. Joey has worked many years of her life. A waitress at the old Chow Time Restaurant, 30 plus years at Dixie Yarns and even a cashier at Wal-Mart. Waiting in Heaven is her mother, Marie McNabb Couey, her brother, Buddy Couey and her husband, Leonard Johnson. She will also be welcomed by her daughter, Tammy Evans and great-granddaughter, Angelee Lofty. We are some of the ones left here to miss her. Daughters, Wendy Hoffer (Allen), Cindy Thibodeaux (Dudley), Vicky Barton (James). Grandchildren, Josh Marlowe, Samantha Daniel, Amanda Champion (John), Bryan Daniel (Lauren). Great-grandchildren, Blake Lofty and Katie Daniel. Also family friend, Margie Allison. We couldn't have asked for a better Mama or Granny. We wish we had more time with her but she is at peace now in heaven. You have been loved and will be missed by us all. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakewood Memory Gardens, West with the Rev. Gary Clark officiating.
