Obituary of John Stanley Watson

John Stanley Watson, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. John was a native of Chattanooga graduating from Baylor High School in 1958. He received his college degree from University of Chattanooga and worked his entire career at NASA in Greenbelt, MD as a computer programmer, retiring from there at age 63 after 44 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph R. Watson and Ann H. Watson and sister JoAnn Rutledge. He is survived by his nephew, Andrew R. Rutledge, nieces Tracy L. Rutledge and Ann M. Wingo, great-nephew Brad A. Rutledge and great-niece Chelsea L. Rutledge and best pals Max and Abby. There will be a graveside service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson on Saturday, February 22 at 11:00 am.
