WJ West, 82, of Hixson, TN and formerly of Bloomington, IL passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 in an area hospital.

Mr. West retired from State Farm as an Assistant Vice President of Life and Health Claims and was past president of the International Claims Association.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita West.

Survivors include his sister, Louise Brackett; several much loved nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM EDT on Saturday, September 21, 2019 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 PM until the service hour at Legacy Funeral Home.

 

On Sunday September 22, 2019 a visitation will held at Hillcrest Funeral Home in Shelbyville, TN from 2-3 PM CDT followed by interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

 

Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy (423) 843-2525.
