I had a dream about Bruce last night. We were in a store, passing each other in an aisle, each of us turned around in recognition. We then approached and gave each other a big hug but didn't say anything. It was like a farewell. So strange. I used to work with Bruce at OMC Industries in Bryan TX in the early 1980's. I was only 19 years old, and he and I played chess at lunchtime, becoming friends. He told stories about drumming in Houston, and competing in a Battle of the Bands, one that was won by ZZ Top. He was a good man.
