I will never forget that Cindy came to my rescue after I snuck my sisters car out and lost control on the big curve right below her house. The car was stuck at least a foot deep in mud. And I knew I was in big trouble. Cindy went on to make several phone calls. And within 30 minutes there was 3 huge 4x4 trucks there to pull me out. She then went and got her mama to come outside and help spray down and clean car so that I would have at least a chance on getting away with what I had done. It worked! And we always got a good laugh over that. And I escaped being severely punished. That memory and her infectious smile will stay with me forever.
