Obituary of William Eugene Pardue

William (Bill) Eugene Pardue, 74, passed away Thursday evening, April 11, 2019, at his home in Hixson, TN surrounded by his family. Bill was born June 18, 1944 to Benjamin and Emma (Kolwyck) Pardue in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Bill, a Vietnam Veteran, served in the U. S. Army for 21 years as a tactical communication systems operator, retiring on May 31, 1983. Bill also served with the U. S. Postal Service as a Mail Carrier and Union Representative for 34 years providing 56 years of combined Federal service to this Nation. He met his beautiful bride, Marie (Jenny) Louise Siegmyer, in Pfungstadt, Germany and they married in 1965.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jenny; five sons, James, Robert, William, John, and Josef; a daughter, Rebecca; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry and 2 sisters, Delores and Gale.
Funeral Services will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379 on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday, April 17, 2019, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
