T. J. Thomas, 82, of Sale Creek, TN passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019, in a local hospital. He was a member of Rock Creek Community Church and a retired ironworker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gracie Thomas, grandson, Tyler Thomas, brother, Rev. Orville Thomas, and sister, Brenda Poe.
Survivors include his sons, Ronald (Ruby) McGee and Ricky Thomas, brothers, Rev. Arthur Glennis Thomas, and Don Thomas, sisters, Noki Yearwood, and Wilma Faye Gregory, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Goins Officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Graysville, TN.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 17, 2019, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
