Obituary of Shirley Lorraine Sims

Shirley Lorraine “Honey” Sims, 79, of Chattanooga passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 in an area hospital.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dora Koger; brother, Ike Koger; sisters, Irene Rose, Charlotte Kennedy and Joyce Fulbright.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Ledford Burnett; grandchildren, Tiffany Ledford and Christopher Ledford; four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM EST on Thursday, January 7, 2019 in Smith Cemetery in Ider, Alabama. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

 

The family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 12 noon on Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
