I could fill this page with memories of my husband, my love, my friend! I ache with missing him. It surprises me with just how deeply the sorrow goes. I wasn't prepared for this, but then, I don't imagine anyone ever is. He was a proud veteran and made sacrifices for his country and family. He continues to honor us even after his passing through little things that mean the world like finding all the pictures of us he carried in his wallet or fully becoming CONSCIOUS and aware of just how much he went through in busting his ass going to work every day to provide for us. Those MONUMENTAL discoveries and realizations during the quiet of night are the most gut wrenching and beautiful!
