Obituary of Gilbert Lee McCullough

Gilbert Lee McCullough, 70, of Sale Creek passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at his home.

In his younger years he raced at the Brainerd Optimist Club and was a huge NASCAR fan. He was a US Navy veteran and loved road trips with his wife.

His parents, Harry and Selena McCullough; siblings, Frances and Eddie McCullough preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Graham McCullough of Sale Creek; brother, Burton McCullough of Knoxville; daughters, Sherry McCullough and Crystal McCullough, DeAnn (Glenn) Broom and Stacy (Scott) Patton , all of Dayton; son, Robert (Janice) Wilson of Sale Creek;  six grandsons, one granddaughter; three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Varner Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends from 11AM until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
