Obituary of Mary Nell Westmoreland

Mary Nell Westmoreland, 81, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at her home.

She loved gardening and spending time with her family and her cat.

She was preceded in death by her  husband, Billy Abner Swaggerty.

Survivors include her son, Billy Steven (Dianna Lynn) Swaggerty; daughters, Patricia Luanne Avendt, Sharon Swaggerty, Debbie Swaggerty Galloway and Alyson Michelle (Jamie) Goebel, brother, George William (Martha) Helton, sisters, Bettye Julian and Peggye (Darrell) Julian; grandchildren, Lisa Newman (Brian) West, John Avendt, Nicholas Saul, Katie Saul, Jimmy (Britney) Galloway and Chris (Vee) Galloway; great-grandchildren, Brittany Brooks, Sarah Brooks, Haley Brooks, Hrishi Brooks, Christian Haney, Caleb Haney, Andrew Haney, Racheal West, Kaitlynn West, Everly West, Geneva Avendt, Jason Galloway, Stanley Galloway, Barrett Galloway; great-great-grandchildren, Truett Goebel and Everett Miles; and extended family.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Josh Cheresnick officiating.
