My condolences to the family of, Mr. Grant. Death is indeed an enemy for it steals our love ones. But, God purposes to bring an end to death real soon. 1 Corinthians 15:26. And the hope to live forever will then be a reality. Psalm 37:29, Acts 24:15. What a glorious hope to have both for those whom we’ve loss in death, and ourselves. May these truths bring you a measure of comfort.

Steve & Sandra,
I am a former co-worker at Combustion with your Dad for at least 40 years. He was a great man and was respected and well liked by all in our department. I spoke with him often by phone. He was very proud of both of you and spoke of each of you often. He will certainly missed by you and all who knew him. He will certainly enjoy talking with all of his Heavenly friends above. Sincerely, Nolan Richardson

My father always spoke very highly of Leroy. He worked with him at Combustion for many years and considered him a good friend. In my adult years of coming to know Leroy and living in Soddy Daisy I found everything my father said was very true. Leroy was a very kind, considerate, and caring strong man who did a lot of great things for many people in our community. He will be missed. May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hands. God speed.

Leroy was a wonderful man. He always had a smile. I enjoyed having Leroy in the Kum Double Sunday School Class. I could always depend on Leroy to read the scriptures or the prayer. Even after he did not feel well, he still wanted to participate. I also worked with him at the FoodBank. I was blessed to have him as my friend & will miss him. Pat Ricketts

Our family-Newell, Ola, Tom, and I -was blessed to have Leroy and Ruby as
our "across the road" neighbors. I have known them all my life and have good memories of growing up on Hallett hill. As children, Mother walked Leroy to school on his first day. He returned that favor over and over as long as Mother lived. Leroy exemplified a Christian life--doing anything to help anyone without expecting anything in return .I don"t remember ever seeing Leroy without a smile and in good humor. A life truly well lived.

Leroy Grant has been my neighbor on Hallett Hill for 63 years. We were the last two “old folks” from the old neighborhood of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s still living there. I moved off the hill in April and now Leroy has moved on to a much better home! I’m sure Ruby (who was a dear friend) was waiting asking him what took him so long! The Hill will never be the same! Rest In Peace. He was a wonderful Christian man. ♥️
