Earnest Fletcher Simpson, 77, of Chattanooga passed away on Friday, September 22, 2018. Ernie was the owner and operator of Mountain Creek Florist for many years and a member of Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Roxie Simpson; brother, David Simpson; sister, Martha Lewis.
Survivors include his brothers, Paul and Buddy Simpson; nieces and nephews, Paul Simpson, Beth Satterfield, Sondra Whitefiend, William Simpson and Kelle Cochran; special puppy, Buddy.
A service to celebrate Ernie's life will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Red Bank Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. James B. Buttram, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
