Obituary of Opal Lee Walker

Opal Lee Walker, 85, of East Brainerd passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Mrs. Walker was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore M. Walker; parents, Willie and Abbie Kendrick; sisters, Ethelene K. Cook and Way Dean Smith; niece, Sheila Smith Rucks.

Surviviors include her nieces, Darlene Smith Horne, Abbie Elaine Riley and Annessia Cole; nephew, Terry Cook; several great-grand-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 22,2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Terry Shannon officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be private in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
