Pat and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Leonard Nixon. I worked with him for many years from the mid 1960’s to the mid 1990’s and he was truly an outstanding man & boss. Leonard and I were business partners in the 1980's and early 1990's, running Southeastern Machinery Corp. I'll never forget the many trips we made to England to visit the factory together. He was wonderful company and an astute businessman, and like me, truly loved the heavy machinery business.

I am sorry to hear of Leonard's passing. He was a long time friend, having been in my parent's wedding in 1952, and living next door with Ruth to our family, down the hill on Bartram Road. After my father's death we talked often about golf courses, real estate development, and the quarries. Leonard never stopped planning for the future. May he rest in peace.
