Obituary of Kenneth Alfred Mills

Kenneth Alfred Mills, 82, of Hixson, TN and formerly of Connersville, IN passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018 in Chattanooga.

Mr. Mills retired from W.C.I. in Connersville, IN after twenty eight years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Harrisburg Union Church. Through the years he served as a deacon and trustee at churches he attended. He loved his family, grand kids, gardening and his 71 Monte Carlo.

His parents, the late David Thornton and Edna Meyer Mills preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of thirty six years, Linda Poe Mills of Hixson; daughter, Teresa (Randy) Watson of Connersville, IN; step daughter, Leslee (Randall) Collins of Hixson, TN; step son, Jay Lanning of Connersville, IN; grandchildren, Corinne Watson and Brennan Watson, Both of Connersville, IN, Caroline (Joshua) Young of Soddy-Daisy, TN and Graham (Alexandria) Collins of Hixson, TN; great-granddaughter, CallieGrace Young and several special cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Randall Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
