Obituary of Garry Dean Harding

Garry Dean Harding, 70, of Hixson, TN passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in a local hospital.  He was a  member of Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle and enjoyed riding motorcycles, bird watching, horses and spending time with family and friends.  He was a U. S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, B. W. Harding and Ollie Wood.

 

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Harding, Hixson, sons, Matthew (Christy) Harding, Soddy-Daisy, Randy (Cindy) Sherlin, Hixson, daughters, Vicki Harding, Cleveland, Terri (Jason) Lahr, Battle Creek, MI, brothers, Marcus Wood, Seattle, WA and Danny (Bona) Burkhart, Harrison, TN, sister, Sherry Hutton, Hixson, grandchildren, Ben and Emma Harding, Joshua Baker, Shelby Baker, Justine (Kenny) Dickens, Austin Lahr, Abigail Lahr, great-grandchildren, Hunter Dickens, Annabelle Dickens and Jackson Baker and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with Rev. David Stancil officiating.  Burial will follow at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
