Obituary of John Walter Elliott III

 

John Walter Elliott III, 62, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in an area hospital. Mr. Elliott was a member of North Hamilton Church of Christ and a former member of Hixson Church of Christ.

 

He worked most of his life in retail sales, salvage and construction.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, John Walter Elliott, Jr.; niece, Kaitlyn Elliott.

 

Survivors include his mother and step father, Colleen Elliott Dennis and Riley Dennis of Soddy-Daisy; children, Kristy (Chris) Campbell of Chattanooga, Chris Pugh of Chattanooga, Jenny McDade of Chattanooga, Jonathan Elliott of Nashville and Heather (Clay) Baker of Hendersonville, TN; brother, Tim (Kimberlee) Elliott of Torance, CA; niece, Kalena Elliott; grandchildren, Darcii Wright, Alexis McDade, Christoper Pugh, Daisia Graham and Dakota Jackson.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 20, 2018 in the Legacy Funeral Home chapel with Joel Laney officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-8 PM on Thursday and 12-2 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
