Obituary of Cierra Nichole Walker

Cierra Nichole Walker, 20, of Soddy-Daisy went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. She has gained her angel wings now.

Fly high, my baby girl.

She was born on January 16, 1998 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jane Gochenour, uncle, George Gochenour, Jr., grandfather, Frederick Oden, grandfather, John Gochenour and grandmother, Leila Gochenour.  She was the daughter of Frances Thompson and grew up in Hixson, Tennessee where she attended and graduated from Hixson High School. 

On this very sad day we also lost her unborn son, Kai Brandt.  She was so excited to be a mom. 

Frances is left to cherish her memory with her father, George Gochenour and her sister Gwen (Jeff) Parrott and niece, Mackinzie Parrott and grandmother, Margaret Oden.

While growing up Cierra worked at Food City, Walmart and Childcare Network and SavALot.

She was a member of Hixson United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 5 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home with the Honorable Judge Clarence Shattuck officiating.  The family will receive friends, Monday from 3 until 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that friends donate to McKamey Animal Shelter in memory of her.
