Obituary of Delores Ella Lewis

 

Delores Ella (Conner) Lewis, age 79, passed away on April 8, 2018. Delores enjoyed houseplants, singing, listening to music, and reading her daily scripture. She was an excellent cook, and never missed an opportunity to feed a friend or family member. She decorated her home with angels and cherubs, and has now gone to be with the angels of the Lord.
 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Lewis; daughter, Mona Smith; sons, Mark Sanders & Steve Lewis; son-in-law, Frank Dunigan; granddaughter, Robin Lewis; brother-in-law, Bud DeSha; parents, Lucile & Emmett Conner

 

Delores is survived by her daughter, Tracey Dunigan; sister, Sharon DeSha; sister & brother-in-law, Lee & Bill Cowart; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Mary Lou Conner; granddaughter, Melissa Foley; grandson, TJ Dunigan; great grandsons, Bryley & Ian Young; great granddaughter, Kailynn Lewis; son-in-law, Earl “Rick” Smith; several nieces, nephews, friends, and her beloved pet, Mimi.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Stancil officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
