Obituary of Jerry Lee Cavitt

 

Jerry Lee Cavitt, 73, of Hixson, TN passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 in a local hospice center.

 

He was a double Purple Heart Awarded U. S. Army veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was of the Baptist faith.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Brown and brother, Frank Cavitt.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Diane Cavitt, daughters, Amanda McDaniel and Samantha (Nick) Rogers, six grandchildren, D. J., Destiny, Hunter, Braxton, Cameron and Caleb, brother, Dickie Cavitt.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with Rev. Mitch McClure officiating. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m.
