Obituary of Shirley Mighnon Marcus

 

Shirley Mighnon Marcus, 77, of Fort Oglethorpe, passed away on Sunday, March 4th. She will be missed.

 

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Marcus, parents; John Dodd and Pearl Tidmore, and sister, Johnnie Pearl Dodd.

 

Survivors include her brother, Jackie( Myrtle) Dodd of Fort Payne, AL, her loving children, Bill (Linda) Marcus of Ringgold, GA, Mighnon (Vince-deceased) Lashus of East Ridge, TN, John Marcus of Chickamauga, GA.; five grandchildren; Jerry (Julie) Wheeler of Harker Heights, TX, Jessica (Daniel) Benton of East Ridge, TN, DJ (Haley) Lashus of Ringgold, GA, Lindsay (Gary) Lynn of Chickamauga, GA, William Marcus of Ringgold GA, seven great-grandchildren; Brody Benton, Tyson Marcus, Cayson Wheeler, Katie Cromwell, Charlotte Wheeler, Blake Benton and Charles Lynn and several nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Wann Funeral Home and Cremation Center from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.  The funeral service will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Gordy officiating.
