Obituary of Linda Faye Brown

Linda Brown, 64 of Soddy Daisy passed Monday, April 7, 2014 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late William T. "Wop" and Bernice Ledford Hamic. Linda retired from Suntrust Bank after 37 years of service. Survivors include her husband, Steve Brown, Soddy Daisy; sons, Keith and Tony Brown, Chattanooga, Scott (Stephanie) Brown, McDonough, GA; sisters, Nancy (Joe) Crim, Chattanooga, Shelby (Greg) Roberts, Knoxville; brother, Fred (Barbara) Hamic, Sampson, AL; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 - 1:30 PM Saturday at Legacy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Memorial Health Care System Foundation's Buz Standefer Lung Center to help fund lung cancer screenings for those unable to afford care.
