Mark Ooten, 57 of Rossville died Thursday, June 16, 2016. He was a member of Cherokee Valley Baptist Church and was a truck driver with Estes Express Lines. Mark was also a member of the Dalton Radio Control Flyers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Taylor Ooten. Survivors include his father, James Donald Ooten; children, Jimmy Ooten, William (Samantha) Ooten, Jennifer (Chris) Casteel; significant other, Susan Dodson; brother, James (Sabrina) Ooten, Jr.; grandchildren, Corbin Ooten, and Kylee Casteel; nephews and niece, Jeremiah and Nathan Ooten, and Amanda Dow. Funeral services will be at 2:30 P. M., Sunday, June 19, 2016 in the chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with Pastor Franky Ridley officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4 - 8 P. M. Saturday and 12 - 2:30 P. M. Sunday at Legacy Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Cherokee Valley Baptist Church, 1495 Cherokee Valley Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736.
