Chester T. Frizzell, 75, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at his home. Mr. Frizzell was retired from Lutrell Construction Company and was a member of Christ Family Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Frizzell; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Frizzell; sister, Katherine Rooks; brother, Robert Frizzell; nephew, James Mitchell Frizzell; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo Miller. Survivors include his companion, Mary Ellen Hindman; sons, Sonny Frizzell, Terry Frizzell and James Frizzell; daughters, Teresa Smith, Alice Frizzell and Lorrie Groomes; brother, Herbert (Sarah) Frizzell; sisters, Lorena (Cletus) Bishop, Martha (David) Mason and Donna (Eddie) Burns; sister-in-law, Joann Frizzell; special caregivers, Karen Vincent and Nancy Shetter; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 23 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Calvin Nunley and Rev. Jeff Gann officiating. Interment will follow in Dodd Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
