I met my dad when I was 16 years old & he immediately made an impression. He was always kind and willing to fill in for missed time. I was so glad that he was able to attend my wedding and I am so glad for the time that we did share. His passing was sudden and difficult news for me to hear and accept, but I am thankful that in the next life we will have another opportunity to make up for lost time.
John Boy, as he is fondly called by friends, will be greatly missed by many, many people. The pool playing community here will not be the same without him. He has played pool for many years in the A.P.A., captaining teams most of the time. John excelled as a player and was well liked and respected by his team mates and opponents!
